Kangaroo Lake is quiet, non-commercial, and unusually scenic and beautiful. Our private beach, large sunning area, and gradually sloping lake bottom make swimming, kayaking, and sailing ideal. The water is four feet deep at the end of each of our two piers and about seven feet deep at our swimming raft. Kangaroo Lake is spring-fed, and considerably warmer than Lake Michigan or the bay of Green Bay. Guests can enjoy croquet, tetherball, kickball, softball, and other lawn games in the spacious playground area, which has swings for the little ones. There are centrally located picnic tables and an outdoor stone fireplace for picnics and marshmallow roasts.

Large and smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike and panfish can be caught off the piers or from our row boats. Charter fishing is also nearby, two miles away in downtown Baileys Harbor. Other local attractions include a challenging and well-groomed 18-hole public golf course within a half-mile, and four other public golf courses within a 10-minute drive. Also close at hand are a wildlife and nature center, a farm animal attraction, four magnificent state parks, fine restaurants, outdoor fish boils, public tennis courts, bicycle rentals, riding stables, night clubs, indoor and outdoor movies, a variety of professional theatre presentations, and art galleries as well as antique and gift shops. There is truly something appealing for everyone.

Sunsets, sunsets, and sunsets!
